We have a wonderful PTA who run organise and run various events across the school year.
Here are a few things our PTA do for our school community:
- Purchase every Reception child their first Lancaster Lane book bag
- Purchase an Easter Egg for every child in school, every year
- Contribute funds towards enrichment activities and school trips each year to keep costs low for parents
- Fundraise to purchase IT equipment for school, including a class set of laptops
- Host an annual Christmas Fair for our families to enjoy
- Celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day with annual events to be enjoyed by families
- Host school discos for our children to enjoy after school
- Reward Year 6 for their hard work following SATs week with a pizza party

Membership
Louise Mitchell and Rachel Threlfall are our joint Chairs of the PTA committee. Our PTA is also a member of Parentkind to ensure our constitution runs completely transparently. This organisation sets out the requirement for how our association operates, from electing members to safely managing events and fundraising money. We are a registered charity and always work fairly, openly and in line with charity guidelines.
We are always looking to recruit new members - even if it's just t help out at the odd event. If you are interested you can either catch a member of school staff at the door or email pta@lancasterlane.lancs.sch.uk to express your interest.
