Subject Access Request (SAR)
Under UK data protection law, individuals have the right to request access to the personal information that a school holds about them. This is known as a Subject Access Request (SAR).
Parents/carers may make a SAR on behalf of their child where they have the appropriate authority to do so. Requests should be made in writing to the school office, providing sufficient information to help us identify the information being requested.
We will respond to a valid request within one month, in accordance with data protection requirements. In some circumstances, where a request is complex or multiple requests are made, this period may be extended as permitted by law.
